Bayfront symposium takes patients beyond the basics of epilepsy

WHAT:

From new drug therapies to the latest clinical trails and technologies, Bayfront’s level IV comprehensive epilepsy program experts will present a variety of information at the 5th Annual Advances in Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders Symposium. Bayfront Medical Center offers the only level IV comprehensive epilepsy program in Pinellas County and is one of five in Florida.

Bayfront experts will discuss new advanced technologies to diagnosis epilepsy and seizure disorders; new drug therapies and clinical trials available; surgical intervention that benefit epilepsy patients with difficult to control seizures; vagal nerve stimulation; advanced therapies in development; and how to live safely with seizures and epilepsy.
