Imperial IPA, Brew’s Banner, makes a comeback at Coppertail Brewing Co. to celebrate Tampa Bay Beer Week

TBBW, Saturday, March 4, through Sunday, March 12, is the celebration of hoppy, malty, sour and roasty beverages that fill beer glasses across the Bay. Coppertail has a lot going on including the release of this popular beer.

March 1, 2017, Tampa, FL – Coppertail Brewing Company of Ybor City is getting a head start on Tampa Bay Beer Week by kicking off the annual celebration a day early. On Friday, March 3, the enjoyment of the best of craft beer in Tampa Bay begins with the release of Brew’s Banner Double IPA.
Brew’s Banner received a score of 90 points from Beer Advocate, a site that allows consumers to rate beers based on a traditional system of judging a beer’s appearance, smell, taste, mouthfeel and overall qualities. Brew’s Banner has been described as a “hop bomb, a hop-heads’ beer, truly world class, and DELICIOUS.”

Casey Hughes, Coppertail’s brew master, said, “Bringing back a beer that was so popular is a great way to start beer week. Some of our customers aren’t happy when their favorite beer runs out. That’s the great thing about brewing beer. If they love it we can brew more the following year, as well as offer them other new beers to try they might also love.”

Brew’s Banner is available in four pack bottles at the Coppertail Tasting Room only. A small amount will be allocated to select accounts, so get it while it lasts. It goes on sale at noon, Friday, March 3rd. As reviewers said, “Get some of that,” because, “This beer is the TRUTH.”

Coppertail’s beer week events include:
•Saturday - A tap takeover by Oxbow Brewing Company of Newcastle, Maine,
•Sunday - East Meets West Meets South, a tap takeover by friends from Anderson Valley Brewing Co. in Booneville, CA, and The Brooklyn Brewery from New York, NY.
•Wednesday- In the Woods, a wood car Race and barrel-aged beer event with friends from Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, Richmond, VA.
•Thursday – Smog City Brewing Co. from Torrance, CA, will take over the taps.
