Spring Hill, FL – Meridien Research has relocated their Hernando County medical research clinic from Brooksville to 120 Medical Boulevard #103.
“Our new location is more central to Hernando County and is almost double the size,” said Jennifer Griffith, Meridien Research Site Director. “Our current and future patients and staff will appreciate the office upgrade as we can now offer even more types of studies – including ones with overnight requirements.”
"So many clinical trials don't make it to completion because there aren't enough volunteers," explained Tony Busa, Meridien Research President and CEO. "Moving our clinic to a modern building in a more populated area only made sense. We are looking forward to getting to know the Spring Hill community!"
The new Meridien Research office is 4,836 square feet and houses three exam rooms. It also holds new state-of-the-art equipment including -20 and -70 degree freezers, interpretive ECG machine, locked temperature controlled drug storage area and an on-site laboratory.
Meridien Research’s Spring Hill office employs 10 full-time staff including a site director, regulatory specialist, recruitment specialist, research coordinators, lab coordinator and front desk coordinator.
The new Spring Hill site is located off the Suncoast Parkway and is convenient for volunteers from Brooksville, Dade City, Tampa and Lakeland. Meridien Research is currently enrolling volunteers for studies of Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes (types 1 and 2), gout, lupus and high cholesterol.
