NOV. 1, 2017, TAMPA – Supporting Trinity Cafe’s ‘Feed the Need’ Program, Outback Steakhouse will temporarily take over the kitchen at Trinity Cafe on Thursday, Nov. 9. Volunteers from the Tampa-based chain’s Home Office team will serve a four-course lunch to approximately 350 guests.
“We want to share what we know and do best – a delicious meal,” said Chef John Li, GVP, Research & Development for Outback Steakhouse International. “Our team is excited to come out to give back and give thanks to our community.”
Feed the Need is a sustainable program that helps the café with daily budget costs while providing an exciting experience for their guests.
“We are delighted to have Outback commit to Feed the Need Tampa Bay and join us in providing a meal,” said Trinity Cafe Executive Chef, Ben D’Azzo, “You cannot believe how rewarding it is to see the impact that food has on people who may not have a meal otherwise.”
Thanks to Outback, Trinity Café guests will enjoy a wonderful four-course menu:
1 Freshly baked Sourdough bread with Bloomin’ garlic butter and chicken gumbo
2 House salad with choice of dressing
3 Herb Crusted Roast Beef with Demi-glace, brown rice pilaf, French green beans
4 Warm assorted cookies for dessert
Outback’s food partner, Cargill, will provide a generous donation of beef to help make the meal possible.
