The exhibit is sponsored by Dream Momma and Let's Talk Life! Radio, and curated by Velva Lee Heraty. This is Heraty's seventh art exhibit in St. Petersburg and continues to reflect her vision of further enhancing the area art scene by blending established professionals with talented, emerging artists.
Local artists exhibiting include Holly Bird, Dana Blust, Wendy Durand, Boo Eshram, Diane Gugliotta, Joose Hadley, Velva Lee Heraty, Timothy Innamorato, Don Kobasky, Patricia Mastry, Mary Mirabal, Mark Mitchell, Saori Murphy, Dennis Ramos, Heather Rippert, Brandon Scott, with student artists Maria Agudelo, Zachary Endicott and Tatsiana Wilson.
Mary Mirabal is a contemporary abstract expressionist artist working primarily in acrylics. A long time art lover, Mary discovered her artistic ability in her mid 50’s. Her abstract style and intense hues reflect her free spirit and enthusiasm for life. She sees the world in vibrant colors and her paintings express the spontaneity of energy, movement and color that are present all around us. Mary is member of Tampa Regional Artists, ISAP-FL and PAVA.
Mary’s exhibit schedule has been non-stop since the beginning of the year. Her upcoming shows include First Friday Seminole Heights on April 1 at Cleanse Apothecary and Urban Bungalow; The Gallery at RareHues Spring Artist Show beginning April 15; Bay Area 9 Art Show at Old Hyde Park Art Center; PAVA Clearwater Library Spring Show; Graphi-ko Gallery’s 12x12x100 show and a her first solo show at the Bunker, Tampa, in October.
