December 21, 2016, New York, N.Y. - The team at Epifani is preparing for a great show as they pack up their premium collection for the trip to California. Nick Epifani, the company’s founder and President, said, “This will be the most exciting NAMM show ever for Epifani. We’re going to debut eight new products that show our absolute commitment to sound design, innovation, and all the musicians who count on Epifani to help them create the best music in the world."
The Epifani 2017 line is focused on bringing lower priced amps and cabinets to a community of electric and acoustic bass players hungry for high quality tone without the premium price tag. For instance, Epifani’s popular line of Piccolo amplifiers will now start at $599 (down from $999). And the new TOUR 410 cabinet will sell for $1199—that’s $500 less than previous models.
The Epifani brand is associated with some of the best bass players on the planet including Ron Carter, (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana), James Cook (Luke Bryan), Rich Ross (Freddy Jones Band) and and Reggie Young (Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys).
The new lineup includes the Piccolo 333 and Piccolo 555 Bass Amplifiers; the new TOUR series bass speaker cabinets available in 4x10, 3x10, 2x10, and 1x12 configurations; and two new combo amps: the TOUR 333 and TOUR 555.
This is a dramatic move for Epifani. Previous iterations of the Epifani product line have focused on the ultra-high end. Creating custom amps and cabinets for world-famous bassists was the name of the game. “Now it’s time to focus on the next generation of talented musicians,” commented Nick Epifani. “It’s our responsibility to help independent musicians develop a unique personal sound. We’re proud to be a part of that process.”
Rich Ross, the company’s Product Specialist and an accomplished Nashville bass player, said, “Were really excited to see all the industry veterans we’ve known for years at NAMM. These are the people who make the music business work. From musicians to dealers to long-time friends, we can’t wait to show them what Epifani has created for them. We know they’ll be blown away.”
