Dunedin Stadium will play host to the first annual Dunedin Beer Festival, sponsored by the Dunedin House of Beer, on Saturday, October 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. The festival will take place on the field itself, where patrons will be able to choose from over 50 Drafts, 100 bottle varieties including many hard to find offerings provided by the Dunedin House of Beer.
Along with all variations of beer to sample, there will be live music, a family area with bounce houses and plenty of food, which includes a barbecue area.
Tickets are $20 if they are bought in advance and $25 at the gates the day of the festival. Patrons must be 21 and over to purchase a ticket, which includes an “all-you-can drink” wristband for the festival. This event is free for anyone under 21. Tickets can be purchased through the Dunedin Blue Jays or at Dunedin House of Beer, with some of the proceeds helping to benefit Dunedin Doggie Rescue and the Dunedin Brewers Guild.

The Dunedin House of Beer is Dunedin's Newest place for great beers, atmosphere, and fun. It features 40 taps of the country's finest handcrafted microbrews as well as several select imports from around the world. Their taps are constantly rotating to bring in the newest and most unique brews that can be seen in the area.
