Continuing its efforts to keep its sales team at the top of their game and foster individual business successes, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group has named Erik Kaukonen as Director of Career Development. The announcement was made recently by Dewey Mitchell and Allen Crumbley, Broker/Owners, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group.
As Director of Career Development, Erik will be responsible for developing a comprehensive training program that not only provides new agents with a path to become Top Producers, but also assists mid-level and experienced agents with monthly opportunities to refocus and revitalize their career track in order to help them achieve their full potential. He is also charged with delivering additional specialized programs offered by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, such as relocation training, essential skills development workshops and continually searching for leading edge training opportunities that enhance our agent’s ability to achieve excellence.
Kaukonen’s extensive real estate career spans more than 18 years. During that time he has held positions in training, management, and technology. He joined the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group’s management team in 2014 as Manager of the firm’s Brandon/Valrico office. Prior to that, he was the Director of Training and Education for Real Living Real Estate in Oak Brook, Illinois, where he managed all education and training for 350 real estate companies and 10,000+ agents. Kaukonen was Director of Technology Education for GMAC Real Estate, and was a Technology Trainer for Coldwell Banker. In addition to his work in residential real estate, Erik has experience in commercial real estate having served as the Commercial Coordinator for Coldwell Banker in the Mid-Atlantic region.
