On October 30, pedal to cure cystic fibrosis by participating in the Eurand CF Cycle For Life Presented by BJ’s Restaurants. Cystic fibrosis is a fatal genetic disease that causes life-threatening lung infections and premature death. It affects tens of thousands of children and young adults.
The Eurand CF Cycle For Life-- a nationwide fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation -- raises money to support vital research for a cure. It’s the perfect way for friends, families and co-workers to come together and make a difference.
The local Eurand CF Cycle for Life will start and finish at the Longleaf Town Center, located at 3104 Town Avenue, New Port Richey, rides of 25 miles, 55 miles and 85 miles are offered. The ride will leave the Longleaf Town Center, travel north on Starkey Blvd, east through the scenic Starkey Park, north on the Suncoast Trail to Anderson Snow Park. For those who want a 85 mile ride you will take the well marked route
through the hilly area of Hernando County. Travel same route back to Longleaf where there will be entertainment, food, beer and fun. Registration begins at 8:00am and the ride will kick off at 9:00am.
