Tampa, FL (March 30, 2016) – Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate CARES, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, in partnership with the Gramatica Family Foundation announce a walk to raise funds for a wounded veteran, Justin Lansford of Tampa. The goal is to raise funds to build a new home for Justin.
Justin Lansford joined the United States Army in 2009. After completing his training, Lansford deployed first to Iraq in April 2010 to support Operation Iraqi Freedom, then deployed again in 2012 to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Lansford served as a team leader and machine gunner.
On April 23, 2012, Lansford was severely injured when a roadside bomb came into contact with his truck. The truck flipped completely and Lansford was crushed underneath, resulting in the loss of his leg, organ damage, a broken back, and burns to his arm. After his recovery, Lansford was medically retired from the United States Army where he continued physical therapy and began college.
Lansford later moved to Tampa with his new wife, Carol, and service dog, Gabe. Lansford is currently attending the University of South Florida in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in International Studies, focusing on the Middle East.
On Saturday, April 2, 2016, the CARESWalk will take place at Eagle Lake Park in Largo. The event is open to the public. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and the walk begins at 9:00 a.m. For more information, contact Judy Clark at 813-286-6563 or visit tampabaycareswalk.com.

About Gramatica Family Foundation
The Gramatica family, consisting of former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Martin Gramatica, his brother Bill, previously with the Arizona Cardinals and former USF kicker Santiago founded Gramatica SIPS International in 2009. Gramatica SIPS provides a full line of services involving Structural Insulated Panel Systems also known as SIPS. Structurally Insulated Panels are environmentally friendly building products that provide greater levels of insulation and show tremendous strength in extreme weather conditions such as hurricanes, earthquakes and other hazardous weather. While conducting business in the Tampa Bay area, the Gramatica brothers saw a need to support deserving members of their community especially combat wounded veterans. They began partnering with other organizations to increase awareness and support of veterans in the Bay Area; especially those veterans who return from combat duty and face insurmountable health and financial challenges. In order to assist a greater number of worthy local residents, the Gramaticas have founded the Gramatica Family Foundation; a non-profit whose mission is to provide energy efficient housing initiatives and development assistance to disabled military veterans, the underprivileged and the ailing.
