Heritage Village will be hosting an entertaining and educational program as part of an annual celebration of Farm-City Week, on Saturday, November 20th. Farm-City is celebrated nationally each year during the week leading up to Thanksgiving. It was created to educate citizens about agriculture, and to help enhance links between rural and urban dwellers.
Between 9am and 3pm, activities will include making butter and ice cream, squeezing orange juice, agriculture related arts and crafts, building a cattle pen, transplant a flower, learn about vegetable gardening and more.
Special guest Dr. Hort Greg Charles from The St. Pete Times Garden Section will be at the event to answer your plant questions.
Market in the Park will be open during this event.
