MDT Personnel announced today a definitive agreement whereby MDT Personnel acquired substantially all of the assets of Able Body Labor, a leading provider of temporary staffing services. The effective date of the transaction is September 1, 2010 and terms were not disclosed.
Able Body Labor, founded in 1986, provides temporary staffing services to the construction, light industrial, event staffing and disaster recovery sectors throughout the U.S.. “MDT Personnel is an exceptional organization with a strong management team that can bring the necessary working capital and technological innovation that we need to move forward. This is an important step in our ongoing restructuring process as we seek to monetize non-core assets and work cooperatively with any stakeholders that have supported us during the past few months”, said Frank Mongelluzzi, founder of Able Body Labor.
MDT Personnel’s CEO, Mike Traina, has been developing innovative employment solutions for more than 15 years evidenced by his ownership interest in the online staff management portal known as iLabor. “Able Body has established a proven branch model platform for success and we seek to combine this with the technologically advanced network of iLabor to form the most dynamic labor delivery system in the United States”.
