The South County Family Resource Center (FSRC) has a stunning new site at 3032 E. College Avenue in Ruskin. We’re so proud of our new location we changed our name from Ruskin to South County to denote our convenient destination.
“Our services, classes and events, along with our dedicated staff and volunteers, enhance the quality of life for all families in the area,’’ says Maria Negron, FSRC program manager.
“We’re happy to continue our successful partnership with Catholic Charities in our newest endeavor,’’ adds Maria. The South County center will greatly benefit from the two other Catholic Charities programs that will be housed there: Partners in Hillsborough kinship program, which supports relative caregivers, and REACH counseling.
We also have centers in Town ‘N Country, North Tampa, Central Tampa and Brandon. Check out program and event times on the Website www.familysupporthc.org and to find more information.
FSRC hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The Children’s Board of Hillsborough County provides funding for the Centers; Catholic Charities manages the FSRC center; and Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County provides fiscal and program management.
